Presto 07300 Stainless Steel Electric Skillet 12 inch

Sunday, January 15th, 2012

My partner and i cannot believe some individuals think this skillet is awful! I adore my skillet and also have been using it since Holiday. I can easily cook virtually anything on it, even pancakes, and cleanup can be an absolute breeze! If there is certainly anything stuck to it all you should do is devote some water, heat to 200 degrees and it all will come off thus easily. I usually do not think the metal is cheap; in truth, it is more non-stick compared to any non-stick pan I’ve ever used. Barkeepers Friend is useful in preserving it seeking brand-new. I have found the heating to become perfectly even, much a lot better than cooking about the stove. My just gripe is that it doesn’t fit into my little dishwasher, but that’s not the pan’s wrong doing. Truly, I adore this frying pan and put it to use constantly.

UPDATE: 06/18/2010

After two years there are several little problems… the frying pan does warp, so liquid puddles in the middle, and the bottom screw will come loose each time I put it to use, making it much more wobbly. I still want to cook on it as it’s easy clear and handy, but unfortunately by last night it merely stopped operating. The gentle was about, but in the center of making supper, the heat went away. Turning it on / off and unplugging it did not work, either. I am contacting the maker to see in regards to a replacement. (more…)

Presto 06620 Critical Reviews

Sunday, January 15th, 2012

I am using this kind of pan on a regular basis for about a couple weeks now and I can say it’s got met just about all my demands than it. Eggs and also bacon tend to be cooked in order to perfection without having burning possibly. It gets hotter quickly, and low temperature works for some foods. I like the truth that the temperature is contained in the pan and also doesn’t heat up the space like gasoline or electric stove best burners perform. The top is strong enough to help you to cook a little chicken or roast. The last test I wanted to perform was fry pancakes as one reviewer mentioned it probably would not get hot enough to do it. Well, I has been amazed at how nicely it do fry pancakes. Using slender batter was much better than thick, but it fried just one to any golden brown. As far as I’m concerned this is a top top quality product and will do what you require than it. The temperature control is within degrees rather than warm method and higher as a few of the others I’ve looked over. That feature came within handy with the pancakes since the instructions were to preheat in order to 375 diplomas. Well, that’s what I did and it was perfect. Cleanup can be a breeze because of the non-stick surface, and the entire pan can be immersed within water without any harm or danger. I can not imagine what else I would want it to do. I would suggest this product and will buy it again in the event that it fails after a reasonable amount of time.

Update, October ’08. After 8 weeks of low stop make use of, some of the non-stick surface is starting to bubble. Read the warnings very carefully, it lets you know to not let it soak within water. I didn’t let it soak, but We let foods stand inside sometimes overnight. I’ve halted doing that, and there is no more deterioration of the surface. I can still fee it extremely, and be more careful in the foreseeable future. I guess I just didn’t consider a non-stick surface might be harmed simply by food sitting on it over night. Live and also learn I suppose.

Update. December ’08. Well last week I scraped off the rest of the “non-stick” covering. I has been worried that if I didn’t I would be eating it. It started coming away in large pieces 2-3 weeks ago. So, the covering is of low quality. I have got several non-stick cookware that are many years old but nevertheless have the non-stick surface intact. Still, the electric skillet operates good, but you must use oil or apply when cooking food or it will stick to the pan. Beware, the non-stick stuff they use is not what you’re used in order to seeing in the pan. Still use it almost daily though:). (more…)
